I work with a vast range of materials:
mixed media painting, photography, collage and printmaking.

My latest series Cityscapes explores texture, colour and abstract forms inspired by my surroundings. I use a variety of overlapping materials combined with essential colours and pure lines. The layers of history, visible in each city, and the ever developing and changing urban landscape are the subject of these carefully constructed mixed media paintings.

Travel is an important part of my research. I draw on my inspiration and sensations experienced in these places and assemble them in a new reality in order to document my journey.

I divide my time between my studios in Wiltshire, England and Padua, Italy.
