I work with a vast range of materials: mixed media painting, photography, collage and printmaking.

I create visual poems which explore texture, colour and abstract forms inspired by nature and my surroundings.

Travel is an important part of my research. I draw on my inspiration and sensations experienced in these places and assemble them in a new reality in order to document my journey. My work not only represents the visual but also refers to literature and music.

My latest series Cityscapes tend towards the simplification of the materials becoming a series of essential colours and pure lines. The layers of history, visible in each city, and the ever developing and changing urban landscape are the subject of these carefully constructed mixed media paintings

I divide my time between my studios in Wiltshire, England and Padua, Italy.
